Wesley is the perfect kid, whose evenly fabulous best ally Theo has just earned a big college election and all together surprises everyone in his life by announcing that he is gay. No one is more astonished than Wesley, who actually lives temporarily with his gay father and spouse, so that he can become familiar with his rather elusive dad. When a dramatic and unexpected injury befalls the children in college, all the parents converge noisily in love and well-meaning support. But through everything, each character finally is made to face certain problems and assumptions within his/her own life, and the participating in out with their respective life priorities and decisions is why is this book so endearing therefore special.
