"The Emperor's New Clothes", one of Hans Religious Andersen's most beloved fairy stories, is narrated by Dame Joan Collins, DBE for the GivingTales job. It is a great story about human vanity and worries of truth, intelligence, stupidity, naivety and incompetence. It reminds us of the never-ending human desire for electricity, material things and good position in the world. The main beginner in the storyplot is the Emperor's weakest place which is clothes. The other beginners of the story will be the conmen who wanted to take benefit of the Emperor's fragile spot to make money. Enough time is not specific but, as in every fairy stories, everything happens once upon a time in a castle.
"The Emperor's New Clothes" was released on April 7th, 1835. The original title in Danish: "Keiserens nye Klæder".
