The reserve Summer season of Lost Feet, by Ronald E. Hudkins, uses a youth named Ricky and his friends through their preteen 1960's summer season vacation mishaps. It seems Ricky has a somewhat known reputation for not being able to avoid destroying, burning off, or misplacing every footwear that are destined, rumored, mentioned, or even actually put upon his toes. He has a devious scheming sister who lives to get him directly into trouble. His parents are at wits end to keep him in shoes. His friends aren't any help by any means in assisting Ricky preserve his footwear be it by their pranks or every day antics where products ultimately happens. Pretty much at the end of the ropes Ricky's parents only request was for his or her son's promise to have at least one footwear ready and in a position to be worn to school at the end of what they recognized would be considered a long hot summer season. Their demanded stipulations were the shoes had to be more than a couple of shoelaces covered around his ankles. The shoes were required to contain all the eyelets. That they had to have an higher canvas casing that includes both toes completely. The feet had to be mounted on the canvas as designed. The bottom of your feet could not be seen and exposed to the pavement below. Basically the shoes had to be a standard, unabridged, completely constructed presentable couple of footwear. They did not need to be pristine as some average wear and tear was expected. The satellite television requirement of having just one footwear by school time did not signify he was permitted to be barefoot the first or previous half of summer season. Although they threatened to send him to school during winter storms in his bare toes, Ricky did not believe for one minute that would happen. Just in case it could happen, Ricky do commit himself to the assurance to have one footwear (perhaps more) competent to take him off to his first calendar year of junior senior high school.
