Fifteen years before the start of the Earth's third Christian millennium, following a 5,000-year lack, Antarean space travelers have delivered to Earth. After the devastation by the impact of asteroid, a few islands were all the continued to be of the continent above the waters of the Atlantic Sea. Prior to the asteroid's impact destroyed Antares Quad-Three, that they had cocooned and secreted a diplomatic army for future use on Earth. But, sadly, the Antareans uncovered that pollution and ultraviolet rays had adversely damaged the cocoons, making the life span they held partially broken and dangerously susceptible. On entrance to the destroyed globe, the Antarean occurrence was uncovered by a little band of retired humans. Once observed, the seniors wanted to help the Antareans reseal their destroyed cocoons and give back them to their underwater chamber, keeping the diplomatic army to be revived and awakened in the foreseeable future. To show their gratitude, the Antarean market leaders invited their aged helpers to become listed on them on the Mothership, and so become Earth's first deep space travelers. They called themselves the Geriatric Brigade. Cocoon, which was a New York Times best retailer upon its release (and an Academy Award-winning film of the same name), is the amazing start of the Cocoon trilogy, which spans 20 years and was a pioneering science fiction novel by David Saperstein that still resonates with viewers today.
