Knowledge All, Lose All explains to the story of a poor oil-seller in India named Dena, who is with debt to a banker for three hundred rupees. This banker persists in harassing Dena and his wife a lot that Dena makes a decision to hightail it, being unsure of where he'll go. He climbs a tree to rest and wakes up another day not in the forest where he went to sleep but on a deserted beach. There he finds numberless rubies easily acquired just for the taking. Gathering as many as he is able to, he climbs regress to something easier the tree and soon finds himself in the forest where he was previously.
