On March 13, 1971, LT Bart Creed, USN launched from the deck of the USS Ranger in support of Operation Lam Boy 719, the ill-fated invasion of Laos by ARVN causes. Despite heroic efforts to save him, the 25 year-old man, and dad of two small children was never retrieved. Even today, his fate remains a unknown.
