A first person epic poem of Odysseus' life and trip. This poem has all the twists and becomes that a person might expect from the teller of the story...which is in cases like this Odysseus himself. The poem begins with Odysseus chiding his unnamed summoner, thus narrating his life, starting with his childhood and ending with his ultimate triumph at the death of the suitors. However, Odysseus has an plan of his own and endeavors to turn the dining tables on his foe. Written mainly in the high minded epic design of the poets of old, with the occasional banal insertion this poem brings back a genre hardly ever seen in this day and age. Minor stage guidelines help it feel more like the ancient Greek plays that inspired it. It comes in two serves, with the first work ending at the original breaking point at the end of the Iliad. The poem is original and does not take straight or indirectly from some of Homer's work, rather uses his history structure and the original myth of the character as ideas for the construction. We hope you will love it.
