Eating Trees is a rags-to-riches-to-rags history of a typical working person who suddenly comes with an outstanding idea. Nick Cerelli is definitely "big-boned," as he and his family make reference to their tendency to put on weight. He works hard as a laborer but never appears to get forward until he makes an observation one day while focusing on a structure job: Fine sawdust feels as though flour. Nick enlists his relatives and buddies in the system to invent an artificially flavored and sweetened sawdust cookie and begins his own company, Beaver Brand. For a short while, Beaver Brand becomes the latest Big Thing, and Nick and his team get to experience the sweet tastes of success until people eating too many of his scrumptious cookies begin to have intestinal issues. Nick relates his history in the first person, speaking in the brilliant dialect of his NY neighborhood. Anyone who has battled weight issues or dreamed of "hitting it big" will relate with and chuckle at Nick's preposterous idea as he thinks it through and decides that this could it be: That is heading to be his solution to the nice life.
