When Natasha, a gifted young musician working as a congressional aide, fits Michael Faulk, an Episcopalian priest struggling with his trust, the stars seem to align. Within calendar months they are involved. Quickly before their wedding, while Natasha is vacationing in Jamaica and Faulk is within New York going to the wedding of a family group friend, the terrorist problems of September 11 shatter the tranquility of the country's summer time. Convinced that Faulk is useless, Natasha makes one in view that contributes to a private injury. A couple of days later, she and Faulk are reunited, but the horror of that day and Natasha's incapability to talk about it inexorably divide their romance.
