Raiding with Morgan is a historical Civil War novel set in 1863; it concentrated of the invasion of Indiana and Ohio by Confederate cavalrymen commanded by Standard John Hunt Morgan a.k.a. the infamous Morgan's Raiders. Ty Mattson never realized his father who gone off to battle in the Mexican War and never came back; and Ty's mother died giving birth to Ty.
