Having all of us been in bondage to sin, we commonly think that sinful things are Satanic; but do we consider equally that the items of the world are Satanic? Most of us, I think, are still in two thoughts relating to this. Yet how plainly Scripture affirms that "depends upon lieth in the bad one" (1 John 5:19). Satan well recognizes that, generally speaking, to attempt to ensnare real Christians through things that are favorably sinful is vain and futile. They'll usually sense the danger and elude him. So he previously contrived instead an enticing network, the mesh which is so skillfully woven as to entrap the most innocent of men. We flee sinful lusts, and with good reason, but when it comes to such relatively innocuous things as science and art work and education, how commonly do we lose our sense of ideals and show up a prey to his enticements!
