A mom and son proceed to a community in northern Norway, each ensconced in their own world. Their distance has fatal consequences. Love is the storyplot of Vibeke and Jon, a mom and son who have just shifted to a tiny devote the north of Norway. It is the day before Jon's birthday, and a visiting carnival has come to the community. Jon is out to sell lottery tickets for his activities club, and Vibeke will the collection. From here on, we follow the two individuals on the separate journeys by way of a cold winter's nights - while a sense of uneasiness grows. Love illustrates how dialect builds its own reality, and so how mom and boy can reside in completely individual worlds. This distance is available not only between human beings, but also within every individual. This book shows how such distance may have fatal consequences.
