During one of the very most difficult times of my entire life, the loss of life of my husband of 35 years, I was given a wonderful possibility to write a each week column "Following a Spiritual Soul" for a little South Carolina newspaper. Sparkly Bits of Spiritual Intelligence is a collection of those regular columns. After my husband's loss of life I used to be lost, I used to be exclusively, and I was heartbroken. I needed lost my senior high school sweetheart, my enthusiast, my best good friend, and my heart's motivation. You see, joy in life was but a faraway memory. I battled with my grief, and I tried out desperately to place the bits of my broken heart and soul back alongside one another. My writing was the only thing that retained me going, it gave my entire life meaning and purpose. An incredible thing happened as I composed my column, I believed nearer to the heart world than I needed ever believed before. It looked like that his loss of life had exposed a religious portal of intelligence, and a new way of looking at life. This hidden magic helped me to survive, grow, and continue on my journey with no love of my entire life. I truly believe my longing to stay connected to my husband after his loss of life played an enormous part in the religious revelations, information, and wisdom, which I received. Writing my column, "Following a Spiritual Soul" gave my entire life a essential purpose. As I wrote I came to the realization that the religious is all around us if we only look and consider every one of the wonderful alternatives and insights that are there for all of us to embrace.
