Introduction, beginning, midsection, end: this is the way these short stories are composed. It's not the only path, but it acts my purpose, for the reason that I needed to have them stand alone and yet contribute to the whole. To my thought process, each tale is becoming an entity unto itself. These are pearls on a long necklace that contribute to the total because they are within an Anthology. Each one vibrates with a certain resonance that reminds us of the same varieties of incidences in our own lives. If on the other hand we view them as just distinct and not adding to the Anthology where they are in, we come to the final outcome that they show us the collective consciousness of humanity. It is not a coincidence that people see that reality, because I tried to fashion them like that. The many topics in the reports echo our deepest worries and triumphs. Be it a young boy's curiosity about the world around him or the regret of an old man not protecting his friend long ago when these were children, these subject areas strike us where we live. Just like the curious boy, I am hoping that you find little pearls of enlightenment. And end up with the satisfaction of hearing stories that give us desire.
