You will discover two themes or templates to Radiomen. First, if there are aliens interacting with the world, they are likely just as mixed up about who or what God is as humans are; and second, whoever they are really, they're probably equally fond of pet dogs once we are. Laurie, a female who works at a bar at Kennedy air-port, doesn't remember that when she was a child, she satisfied an alien on the flames escape of a building where her uncle kept a shortwave radio. The air is part of a universal network of repeaters retained by an unfamiliar alien contest; they use the network to transmit prayers into the universe. She matches a psychic who's actually part of a Scientology-like cult called the Blue Understanding, as well as a late-night radio coordinator. All have their own reasons for unraveling the enigma of the lost radio network. Laurie is given a peculiar dog by her neighbor, an immigrant and an associate of the Dogon tribe - people who imagine they were stopped at by aliens long ago and replicate a myth about how exactly the aliens brought doglike pets or animals with them. All Dogon pet dogs are supposedly descended from that animal. As conflict develops between the Blue Awareness head and the other people, the Dogon act as an intermediary between the humans, who wish to understand why the aliens need the air network, and the aliens who need the humans to help them find a lost factor of the universal network.
