What involves head when you hear the word Dad? A general explanation of the word father is parent, or even more specifically a male parent. In fact the Greek term pater does mean dad but pater is where we get the word parent from. The term father is going way deeper than just parent. What many of us desire whenever we think of the word father is an example, a leader, one who guides and promotes and loves. Person who is actually there and always will be there. But that explanation and explanation is not what many of us think of when it comes to the word father. Many didn't have a detailed relationship with their father and so many more did not even have a relationship with their father. I did have a marriage with my earthly dad and I am eternally thankful for that. It wasn't perfect but my father performed provide, protect, and was always there. My earthly dad possessed weakness and limits, but our Heavenly Dad does not. That is magnificent to see God as a Dad! It is not only magnificent, but necessary. I want to explain. Whenever we check out God we may see a being that cannot be reached, one surviving in the Heavens whom we cannot even picture or visualize. We cannot hardly imagine Heaven and everything it has to offer significantly less the God of Heaven. Even while I got in Chapel or a part of the spiritual system in my childhood days approaching to God was not even possible. It was hard enough getting near the Priests significantly less to God. It may be difficult for you now to see God as a Dad, but through this writing I understand you won't only see God as the daddy, but also accept the Father.
