The February 2015 concern samples the sorts of cons and scams experienced by travelers - their mission to travel easily, safely, and relatively easily, without falling sufferer to the many schemes, scams, shams, and rip-offs perpetrated upon them at just about every turn in their travels (as well as, frequently, even in their own house countries). However travel today for anybody, and particularly for relatively naive, young, and inexperienced travelers, has increasing troubles, what with the growing quantities of men and women relegated to begging, scheming, thieving, and needing to do whatever they need to do to endure and manage. All too often it has nearly become almost typical for people of all persuasions and kinds to try to somehow dispossess unknowing and unsuspecting international travelers of the money, passports, personal possessions and effects, and travel accouterments, simply because it's the simplest way to allow them to get by. It's often easier to grab than to work. And work overseas is not always easy to come across for many who want or need it. And not only are there the most common local legions of pickpockets, thieves, and muggers on the prowl to contend with who want for victims; there are plenty of other fellow travelers guilty of doing specific things like well. Often travelers end up in difficult and sometimes dire situations, such as operating out of money, engaging in trouble, contending with being a long way away from your home, maybe even strung from drugs, or simply having difficulty making it through. Some of these travelers, because of this, end up succumbing to and becoming a member of the rates of people and scammers who prey upon other travelers and sometimes even the locals.
