The Booklet of Shadows works a little like a Wiccan's guidebook, holding a different amount of knowledge from rituals and spells to beliefs and traditions. Compiled by Gerald Gardiner in the later 1940s to early on 1950s for his coven of Brickett Wood, it was written to steer start Wiccans. They used information from this reserve, adding and departing out information to suit their own literature. A Wiccan who joined Gardiner's coven and later a higher priestess, Doreen Valiente, made a decision to rework Gardiner's original tome. She is credited with creating the Wiccan Rede and also added her own poetry to the publication. In earlier times, Wicca was usually run by covens, which could have only 1 Booklet of Shadows, which was the responsibility of the High Priest or Priestess. However, today, Wicca has improved and frequently a coven will have its reserve of spells while every individual Wiccan has their own singular reserve of shadows that they develop themselves. It is a highly personal reserve which shows the individuality of each practitioner. Practitioners do not necessarily participate in a coven and they'll usually create a Booklet of Shadows independently. The Booklet of Shadows (BOS) can be an item every Wiccan needs. It stores home elevators spells, rituals, materials, and knowledge you'll need for your Wiccan practice and helps you start your Wiccan route. It is important for Wiccans to make a reserve of shadows to store their knowledge. Take benefit of this great opportunity and understand how to build your own reserve of shadows! Blessed be!
