Yes, our town is way off the beaten avenue, but odd, wonderful miracles happen a whole lot around here. I've had the Lower 'n' Curl beauty look for years, and I've seen people come for a visit, then stay for life. Take Jane - that very firecracker of a girl who just arrived in town. I would swear she's running from something. She came with only five us dollars in her pocket, but she's worked real hard to produce a fresh start. She's flipped my boy Clay's life upside down without even realizing it. And thank goodness for that! Ever since Clay left his country-western music group, he's played everything too safe. He needs to have a chance on Jane. Besides, the greater he tries to keep his distance, the greater he'll realize that he and Jane are singing the same tune.
