Careful what you want for.... Kite Morgan's in 6th grade when she's her first attack. It's with a woman named Carla Bell, and Kite loses. She returns and creates a paper doll resembling Carla and, in a fit of fury, runs the doll over with her little brother's Tonka pick up truck. Exterior, sirens wail as emergency vehicles race past Kite's house. Kite confirms the true Carla Bell a 50 percent mile up the street, lying under the wheels of a genuine truck, looking the same as the doll possessed on her dining room desk. Comatose, Carla is taken to hospital. Kite believes it's more than a mere coincidence. Soon her ideas are validated, starting her on an emotional rocketship trip as she totally realizes the implications of having so much power and the duty that should go along with it. Kite finds out the hard way, though, responsibility isn't all it's cracked up to be.
