John Griffith "Jack port" London was an American publisher, journalist, and communal activist. He was a pioneer in the then-burgeoning world of commercial mag fiction and was one of the first fiction writers to obtain worldwide star and a large lot of money from his fiction only. Some of his most well-known works include The Call of the Crazy and White Fang, both set in the Klondike Gold Dash, as well as the short stories "To Create a Fire", "An Odyssey of the North", and "Love of Life". He also composed of the South Pacific in such reports as "The Pearls of Parlay" and "The Heathen" and of the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay area in The Sea Wolf. London was a passionate advocate of unionization, socialism, and the privileges of employees and composed several powerful works coping with these subject areas, such as his dystopian book The Flat iron Heel.
