"A bad writer has no privileges whatever. Any mercy shown to him is misused and mistaken" (H. L. Mencken, 1880-1956). I composed The Vitality of Writing Well to address everything managers, leaders, engineers, scientists, yet others have to be better senders and receivers, not to cover everything they need to know about terminology or even to be the perfect senders or receivers - no person is. The many literature on writing and connecting that case to be everything to everyone fail since they are overwhelmingly intricate, packed with jargon and ineffective labels and distinctions, such as participial phrases as opposed to gerund phrases or transitive verbs versus intransitive verbs. Most of us beyond academe don't care and attention, and we shouldn't being that they are not relevant to our needs. This brief reserve condenses the patterns and techniques - your tools - that work the majority of enough time for the majority of the folks who write at work and desire to be happier in every elements of their lives: little or nothing more, little or nothing less. Additionally it is a genuine and accurate reflection of my 40 years of writing for business and of teaching writing at two exclusive universities and many professional societies and companies. You can trust that what I'm letting you know will improve your talents to connect and think and cause you to more beneficial, promotable, and happy. It will also make your company better and profitable. I ensure it, and my students verify it.
