The Narrow Route is a story about a couple who must face their distinctions and figure out how to interact as they look toward an eternity of love. Miranda Klassen's Mennonite chapel is big and modern and she adores the combination of beliefs, action, and activity. However in order to check out her wish she moves across the country to a little town to organize the 75th anniversary celebration of a vintage Order Mennonite chapel. Ted Wiebe has been given to aid and guide Miranda, sense good that his chapel has chosen another Mennonite. But except for posting the same basic beliefs and denomination, their churches have little or nothing else in common. His chapel embraces old-style root base, so Ted desires to find someone similar at the air-port: a female who never wears jeans, nobody piercing (including pierced ears), no makeup, and using a head covering as an indicator of modesty, someone else who lives relative to old-fashioned values. However the girl who acknowledges him is using unreasonably high and outlandishly expensive shoes, denim jeans, and makeup, including bright red lipstick. As she gets off the planes she's fiddling with an ipod touch and yapping on the cell phone. When Miranda gets into Ted's chapel and community she feels like she's been transferred back into Little House on the Prairie. Ted is supposed to help Miranda fit in, and Miranda is supposed to help his chapel reach out in to the community. If it is time to get started on planning and organizing for the special event, then your fun really commences.
