Printed in 1894 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes is a assortment of 11 different tales that focus on the beloved persona of Sherlock Holmes. The first of these tales is entitled "Silver Blaze", and chronicles Sherlock Holmes' efforts to not only track down a race horse who has disappeared, but to find out who have murdered the horse's trainer. As the tales progress, the details of various conditions become more and even more suspenseful, and Sherlock Holmes is called upon often to investigate various offences and mysterious occurrences. About halfway through the series, the famed Dr. Watson seems to help Sherlock Holmes in a few of his crime-stopping and analysis efforts. Together, each of them tackle robbery, murder, and deception to create a truly unique series of stories. The culminating story, which is correctly entitled "THE ULTIMATE Problem", sees Sherlock Holmes having to avoid a variety of murder efforts on his life, as he comes basically face to face along with his archnemesis Moriarty. In typical Sherlock Holmes fashion, the criminal offenses stopper then transforms around and attempts to bring justice to the problem, that may avenge all the murder efforts and the dangers that the man helped bring against him.
