In the struggle to find clean, alternative energy, mankind has uncovered the perfect applicant. Unfortunately, what could force the world for millennia to come, may also end it tomorrow. Alex and his friend James are attempting to press out the last minutes of warmer summer months before their older year of senior high school when all of a sudden, everything goes dark. The power to a whole quarter of the US electricity grid has just eliminated out and nobody knows why. Through her top secret past and a series of events too bizarre for Alex and James to even believe, the three friends find themselves facing the reality behind the energy have difficulties, and stranger still, they figure out that they're really the only ones who can keep this new electricity source from eliminating us all.
