Texas Ranger Loren Williams is running after six loan company robbers who wiped out and beheaded three fellow Rangers who had been running after them. He satisfies up with Jim Thornton, a previous Confederate gunman, who have found just a little blind girl called Shelby Jean at a burnt out wagon, her dad and uncle murdered and her mom kidnapped and murdered by the men the Ranger is running after. Jim and the Ranger follow the outlaws, searching for a home for the lady on the way. They may be ambushed by the outlaws and manage to kill two of them. The Ranger is terribly wounded and Jim gets him and the lady to a near by ranch where a mountain man/preacher and his widowed daughter-in-law called Dottie take Loren and the lady in. While Jim, an area sheriff, the mountain man and a deputy are chasing the outlaws toward Mexico after they robbed a loan company in the town and killed two people, Loren and the widow semester in love and are married. Returning to Loren's ranch near El Paso, Loren and Jim leave Dottie and Shelby Jean with Loren's dad and follow the outlaw into Mexico where he leads the slaughter of 30 Mexican soldiers and kills others along the way. The run after leads back to Texas, into the mountains and back to Mexico. The killer is chased east by the Mexican army, then crosses back to Texas and eliminates a bounty-hunter who will try to arrest him. On his journey by Loren's ranch, he has seen Dottie and is set to get her. He minds back again toward El Paso and a bloody showdown. Pursuit is a story of a lonely gunman who confirms a little lady who is still left to perish, and a fearless and determined Texas Ranger who'll not stop until he gets his man and confirms the love of his life and a daughter along the way. It is also the story of their friendship and the girl they both love and who is in love with them both. There's hazard, assault and horror along the way. But there is also heroism, sacrifice and honor.
