Herbert George Wells (1866-1946) was a prolific British writer of science fiction reports and novels and is frequently credited as being the father of science fiction. 'The Treasure in the Forest' is the story of two treasure hunters, Evans and Hooker, who've murdered a Chinese language man to grab his map, which locates a buried stash of yellow metal ingots. The Chinese language man experienced boasted that he previously ensured the protection of his top secret hoard. But what can he have meant by this? When Evans and Hooker arrive at the positioning of the hoard, the initial thing they find is a useless body of another Chinese language man. But how do he die? And why did he neglect to escape with the yellow metal?
