The Dhammapada, a collection of 423 verses in 26 chapters, could very well be the most well-known of all Buddhist text messages. It presents the Buddha's teachings in a clear and highly accessible form and has been used for personal education and teaching for centuries throughout the Buddhist world. It originates from the Khuddaka Nikaya portion of the Pali Canon and is here now gathered with two other key text messages from the same source. The Udana ('inspired utterance') contains testimonies from the Buddha's life, each which conclude with a verse. Among they are Bahiya of the bark-cloth and Meghiya, who wished to meditate but got, perhaps, chosen an unacceptable time. The Itivuttaka ('it was said') was reputedly recited to a queen at judge by a lay down feminine disciple of the Buddha who got paid attention to him teach. It really is a collection of 112 short discourses which is, again, very clear in form.
