Dancing on ice... The holiday season in NEW YORK is meant to be marvelous, but it isn't yet Thanksgiving, and what's happening isn't that kind of magic. The fairy world seems to be bleeding in to the human world. Peculiar white horses hold people in to the Central Park lake. Children are disappearing using their beds. Sophie Drake recognizes the fae aren't at fault, and she suspects that a person of the enchantresses is up to no good, creating a situation that will put her in vitality. But exposing how she recognizes what's happening means exposing her own fae ties to the anti-fae enchantresses. Not that she's time to deal with some of this. She's been offered a significant ballet role in The Nutcracker - a chance to revive her dance profession.
