Although this book consists of many accounts of mistreatment that my siblings and I were subjected to as children, this book, however, is not designed to make anyone have a pity party for us. We've survived the mistreatment and are doing perfectly. This book was written to provide hope to children who are or have been abused. It has additionally been written to open the eye of parents who misuse their children. I know i cannot stop mistreatment in America just by writing a book about it, but if I can show individuals who abuse is everywhere, maybe right nearby to them, just maybe we can all get started to have a stable stand against mistreatment of children. I am hoping this opens the eye of America to the violent aspect of humanity - the assault against our own children.
