Two major epic poems originated from historic Greece and experienced the energy to form our culture for centuries. They are both related to the blind poet Homer, and are called Iliad and Odyssey. The Iliad and its sequel, the Odyssey, are the oldest extant works of Traditional western literature. They may be of tremendous ethnic importance, and their magic continues to be strongly alive.
