You start with Tarzan, the pulp age was full of jungle heroes. Jungle Jim is one of the initial ones. He had not been a scarcely literate, loincloth-clad tree-dwelling crazy man but rather Jim Bradley, a great white hunter in the mold of heroes of early on popular fiction such as H.
