This Is Your FBI, as the name advises, was a offense drama that included true instances from the FBI and was informed from an agent's viewpoint. The show's maker and director, Jerry Devine, possessed once worked well for the FBI, so having him for the show allows each storyline to be told in the simplest way possible. J. Edgar Hoover, who was the principle of the FBI at that time, gave it his endorsement, contacting it "the finest dramatic program on the air", and gave Devine usage of the FBI files for the reports used in the show. The show's main identity was Agent Jim Taylor, who completed crime instances on the West Coastline. Each 30-minute show allowed for the demonstration of the criminal's activities, used up with Taylor's inspection of the offense. This long-running series starred Frank Lovejoy (and later Dean Carlton and William Woodson) as the narrator, Betty White, and Stacy Harris.
