Robert Daley (a soldier stationed in the centre East) and Paul Gest (a 17-year-old gamer) promote something in common - they are both pawns in a federal advanced weaponry prototype. Unable to work out the bugs in the software, Standard Aaron Singleton commences to take drastic measures to keep his weapons system alive; he's willing to try anything to keep up government funding, and that means using the imagination of small children and the restored bodies of fallen military heroes. Along, Robert and Paul work to get rid of the General's programs but in order to achieve that, they need to first survive The Game.
