This is actually the second collection of poetry by WB Yeats, first posted in 1893, with a fresh foreword by poet and actor Tim Dalgleish. This is a beautiful collection of poetry that translates the two 2,000-year-old mythos of Ireland into words that inspire and touch the mind, body, and nature of any listener. This audio tracks narration includes music between your poems which underscores and enhances the feeling of love and thoughtfulness. The rose means Ireland, but also for Yeats unrequited love Maud Gonne. The poems are passionate and symbolic and once read or listened to, root themselves in one's psyche. The famous "Lake Isle of Innisfree" is included, but essentially, Yeats supposed this poetry to be experienced as a series as presented here in its original posted format. The scent of mystical poetic genius goes up from every word. This is actually the Celtic Twilight taken to life. Picture credit: freeimages.com/Scott Schopieray
