A distant island in the South Pacific plays host to twelve strangers. One of these is a murderer. An advertisements in a newspapers brings a disparate group of individuals to a tropical paradise. They will live mutually for yearly, work and build a community, and film everything that occurs for a documentary that will only see the light of day at the end of the trip. Almost at once, things start to go wrong. They are designed to be strangers, however, many of them have attained before. They are really meant to obtain regular trips by the company financing the documentary, but no person ever comes. And their only link with the exterior world - a tiny lightweight radio transmitter - is not capable of transmitting anything....
